OUR ADMISSION PROCESS

At Spring Bilingual Montessori Academy, we value partnerships with each and every family we serve. Therefore, we place a lot of importance on the admissions process: It is our first opportunity to get to know a potential new family just as it is the chance for a prospective family to learn more about our school. Each step in the process is a touchpoint in the building of what we hope will be a lasting and productive partnership.

We look forward to getting to know your child and family through our open house events and individual family tours, and are here to support you as you explore what Spring Bilingual Montessori Academy has to offer.

STEP 1: Attend an Open House. SBMA Open House events are held in November and January of each year and offer prospective families an opportunity to meet our amazing teachers, learn more about our Montessori and World Language curriculum, tour our newly renovated facility and more. To receive an invitation to our Open House events, submit a Prospective Student Information Form and our Admissions Team will contact you in the fall.

STEP 2: Submit an Application. Applications for Enrollment are generally accepted from October through February for the following school year. We advise interested families to begin the admissions process early as classes tend to fill up quickly. Current students and their younger siblings have priority enrollment; new families will receive acceptance decisions no later than March.

STEP 3: Schedule a Family Visit. First-hand observation of the Montessori environment is the best way to understand what Montessori is about and how it works. Following the review of your Application for Enrollment, our Office will invite eligible families to schedule a child assessment visit and a parent interview with our Head of School. This is a very warm and inviting process designed to make you and your child feel comfortable with the school.

STEP 4: Confirm Acceptance. It is our belief that the enrollment decision is a matter of mutual assessment and understanding between family and school.  Your child’s successful experience at SBMA is grounded in your family’s firm support of our Montessori values. To this end we want to provide every opportunity for you to make your enrollment decision a fully informed one. Once offered a space, families must return the Enrollment Agreement and Tuition Deposit required to secure enrollment.

We appreciate your interest in Spring Bilingual Montessori Academy and look forward to getting to know your child and family!
