Spring Bilingual Montessori Academy (SBMA) seeks to create a learning environment in which the student is encouraged to explore his own innate sense of curiosity and eagerness to gain knowledge. Our program is carefully designed to meet the individual needs of each child. The difference between our environment and that of other Montessori institutions lies in the parallel instruction of foreign language to all facets of the learning process.
Our convenient daily schedules are tailored for working parents: we open as early as 7:30 am, and are open until 6 pm, with year-round program options. Our shorter half-day programs for toddlers and preschoolers are a great option for combining a high-quality school experience with time at home.

“I just wanted to tell you how impressed I was with Ms. Isha’s classroom. My son is doing so well in reading and math. It was a pure pleasure to observe Ms. Isha teaching Cormac complicated addition. She is a truly brilliant Montessori teacher. I observed so many wonderful things happening in the classroom as a whole too. It’s so incredible to see the independence each child has developed! And the way they help and encourage each other is so beautiful. Mdme. Drabo’s class was really lively too. She is such a passionate teacher. It is clear that she is doing her absolute best to get the children to absorb as much French as they can in the time she has with them. She had the children act out a boutique scene with each child playing a different role. I was very impressed with her creativity and her very positive attitude. Plus in addition to pushing my son gently to learn as much as he can, both Ms. Isha and Mdme. Drabo clearly love my son. It’s an incredible combination. We are so glad to have him at Spring. We are so grateful for all that he has learned and for the incredibly positive experience his 3 years here have been.” – Erin Toner, 2014-2017
“We appreciate all Spring has done for our daughter over the years! It has been a great experience for her and us!” – Jodi and Michael, 2014-2016
“As our son’s time at SBMA comes to an end, Josh and I just wanted to say thank you to you and your staff for the experience you’ve provided him the past three years. We are especially thankful to Ms. Bela for her warmth, patience, and genuine interest in helping our son succeed. Thanks again, and we wish everyone at SBMA the best.” – Jamie Wolfe, 2013-2016
“As the year comes to an end, I just wanted to drop a line to tell you how much we have appreciated all that you have done for our boys. We’ve been there since our first son was 2 1/2 years old, and he’s now 7 1/2. It’s been such a wonderful experience and I am so grateful that we have had the care that we have received there. Your leadership (having had the experience of both being there before and after you came), has been exceptional and really has brought together the school as a community. The energy there is wonderful and the place truly has a new life in it. Ms. Bela’s, in particular, has been so wonderful. I cannot believe that my younger son is already reading–and I owe that entirely to Ms. Bela. Knowing how different my two boys are, their personalities and learning styles, I continue to be impressed with her experience and ability to adapt to all teaching styles. She has, for both of my kids, recognized their strengths and weakness and really been able to help them excel–in all capacities. We also really have appreciated Ms. Yolanda and Ms. Nubia’s spanish instruction. My younger son, in particular, seems so happy there. SBMA has the right balance to enable kids to have fun while they are learning. Although we will still be there for the summer, I know that we are going to miss being a part of the SBMA community. (We will be back with our baby daughter–but she’s got a little while before starting at SBMA! Thank you for all that you and the teachers and staff do.” – Nirali Shah, 2011-2016
“Under the nurturing attention of her Montessori teacher, Ms. Bela, my daughter learned to focus on a task until it is complete and express herself clearly. Ms. Nubia, expanded her Spanish comprehension, and more importantly, with her guidance was able to develop more confidence in herself, speak up and get involved. Ms. Yolanda, the Montessori Assistant Teacher was a source of comfort for my daughter. She was able to see that she needed coaxing to fulfill her potential; ingeniously creating opportunities for her to lead activities and often providing that extra hug that was needed. I am very grateful that my daughter has been under their tutelage for 3 years, and to see her now assisting with the younger children, reading her first Bob Books on her own, correcting my Spanish pronunciation- it is reassurance we did the absolute best thing for her by finding this little known powerhouse of a school.” – Asaki Bradford, 2011-2014
“Our son absolutely LOVES Spring and we couldn’t be more thrilled!!! We have seen a dramatic change in him especially in his mood compared to his previous school. We just wanted to thank you and the rest of the teachers and staff for making our son’s transition a smooth one. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and thank you for the opportunity to have our son at Spring!” – New Family, Summer 2014
“Ms. Bela has a keen ability to sense what each child in that classroom needs. She very quickly came to understand the unique learning styles of our 3 children, each of them unique, teaching them in a manner to reach their core learning strengths. She was integral in fostering intellectual curiosity in each of them. At 10 years old, we continue to see the spark in our girls’ eyes when learning something new. I know, that had they not had a teacher like Ms. Bela, they may not have the work ethic and love for learning that she helped to instill in them each day. My family is a family of educators, generations in fact, that have chosen education as a career. All have commented on how wonderful the teacher must be, seeing the academic progress of our children during these critical years. You are so lucky to have the educator Ms. Bela in your midst. I will say, I also feel the same about Ms. Margarita, Ms. Tutu and others who cared for my 3 children when they were at Spring. We knew that not only would they be in a caring environment, but that they would benefit from rich tutelage and instruction.” – Tyra & Kyle Cochran, 2007-2010 and 2012-2014
